Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has introduced an amazing program to spread awareness about Sanatana Dharma. The program named ‘Book Prasadam’ will provide free books to devotees of Hindu traditions and Lord Venkateshwara.

According to the Chairperson of TTD, BR Naidu, this initiative will pass on the rich heritage and culture of Hinduism. Thus, now, devotees visiting the Lord Venkateshwara temple in Tirumala will receive books as prasadam alongside laddoos.
TTD’s Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad is leading this program and the major distribution areas will be Dalit hamlets, remote villages, and some of the agency places across Andhra Pradesh. In fact, devotees waiting in the Vaikuntham Queue Complex for darshan will also get the spiritual texts for free.
At a recent event at the Tirumala camp office, TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) officials presented Chairman B.R. Naidu with a special collection of spiritual books that are soon to be distributed widely. The collection contained many revered texts such as Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavam, Vishnu Sahasranamam, Venkateswara Suprabhatam, Shiva Stotram, the Bhagavad Gita, . Even some biographies of great personalities were there too.
All credits goes to the generous donors behind the cost of printing them so no amount of TTD funds are being utilized for this initiative. At first, the books will first be available in Telugu. Later on, they will be released in other Indian languages for nationwide distribution
Highlighting the importance of this initiative, Chairman B.R. Naidu said that it’s not just about distributing books. The program is aimed to nurture spiritual awareness. It will preserve the values of Sanatana Dharma along with addressing concerns about religious conversions.
